Underwater Photography Internship
The purpose of this underwater photography course is to give the certified scuba diver a hands-on and practice focused course in digital underwater photography. The practical approach will be supported by theory lessons. This is because theory enables and enhances the creative prose’s.
The photography course is therefore divided into two distinctive sections, classroom and underwater. The duration of the course is four weeks with the first few days being ‘dry training’. This is to ensure a basic understanding and familiarity of the camera and principles of photography before entering the water.
During the rest of the course you will be concentrating on improving your diving and photographic techniques by conducting dives and shooting pictures in diverse situation and under different circumstances. You will also be learning a strong foundation in post-production of digital images so you can get the best out of your pictures.
At the end of the course our students present or exhibit a portfolio of their images, it's time to show your work!
Please note that as this is an intensive course in digital underwater photography that goes far beyond the basics, it is expected you will bring your own camera and housing. But don't worry; if you need to rent your underwater photography equipment, we have a number of cameras for rent including DSLR's and Strobes.

The sole purpose of our underwater photography internship is to teach you techniques which will enhance you photography skills to a level beyond that of the recreational underwater photographer.
The course is a stand-alone and does not come at this time with credited certification. However, PADI specialties can be added at a minimal cost to the student. The specialty courses recommended would be Digital Underwater Photographer Level 2, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Enriched Air Diver and Deep Diver.
All specialty courses conducted during the course will come with a 10% discount on the advertised price.
